ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
To support the Health & Wellbeing team with educating employee on company benefits and in day-to-day administration of benefit plans. A core responsibility will be supporting in the development and delivery of communications through multiple internal communication channels, keeping employees apprised of opportunities for education and engagement. Knowledge and experience in benefit plans needed to support the team in day-to-day administration but also to educate employees on how to utilize the benefits.

To support the Health & Wellbeing team in administration of plans and in education/communications of benefit programs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Employee education of benefit programs.
- This includes employee engagements, communications, education, and Open Enrollment presentations (online and in-person) to new hires and employees throughout the year.
- Develop and maintain internal SharePoint site with clear information about benefits, using multiple delivery channels, that employees can find and understand.
- Assist in the development of internal communications to employees and HR.
- Assists in reviewing and approving financial and performance data from benefits providers.
- Perform data research in digital and paper files to support participant inquiries and audit requests.
- Support certain cyclical activities such bi-weekly and monthly files, reviewing and approving vendor invoices, reviewing employee files for issues and other activities that require excel skills such as lookups and advanced formulas.
- Assist with employee and retiree inquiries and issues.
- Ensure issues resolved timely.
- Work with vendors to improve service levels.
- Liaison with vendors to investigate escalated benefit inquiries.
- Liaison with internal IT team and external vendors on interface and data issues.
- Support team in ongoing process improvements and process documentation updates.
- Assigned projects.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- 4+ years in corporate business environment.
- 2+ years in benefit programs; experience in health and life insurance plans preferred but not required.
- Experience in administrative, analytical or project management role demonstrating organizational skills.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Adaptable to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and respond quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high level, responsive customer service in a business environment.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.

- Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with high-level of proficiency in Excel.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or related field.
BENEFICIAL
- Experience in employee communications and/or education.
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
- Experience with benefits and insurance programs and administration.
- Experience with SuccessFactors, Workday or other HR information systems (HRIS).
- Experience or demonstrated technical aptitude to understand flow of data to/from HRIS and payroll systems to vendors and resolve technical issues.

Wage Information
- Bonus Target: 10% percent

- 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
