BAT MEXICOIS LOOKING FOR A DIRECTS PROCUREMENT INTERN
SENIORITY LEVEL: Non Management
FUNCTION: Procurement.
LOCATION: Punto Valle.
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible supporting the Procurement management team through purchasing and analysis activities, operating practices in the procurement processes, in order to evaluate, prepare and complete tenders, process requirements generated through the system to ensure the placement of purchase orders, under the guidelines of the Purchasing Policy. Support the monitoring and reporting of the main critical metrics (savings, cash flow, contract management, master data compliance, involved parties’ management).
Reports to: Sourcing Executive, Direct Materials
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Communication with global and local suppliers
- Support to innovation projects, savings, and contingencies of direct materials.
- Creation and management of purchase orders for direct materials tooling
- Management of key Direct Procurement critical metrics and follow-up sessions
- Development of strategic projects for process optimization
- Support in supplier data management
- Validation, creation, and update of direct materials pricing

- Basic SAP
- English knowledge is a must
- Power BI & Excel
- Leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, International business students.
- Bachelor’s degree students to be graduated in one year or later.
