JOB TITLE: Insights Executive

FUNCTION: Marketing

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Insights Executive will assist in consumer insights and foresight processes by implementing a robust analytics agenda across APMEA West for the FMC category. They will create baseline analytics for routine data updates and monitoring, ensuring project insights are actionable and contribute to the development of robust future strategic SMP/Trade plans.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Collaborating with DBS and Digital teams to develop and deploy databases, data collection systems, marketing analytics, and other data strategies aimed at optimizing efficiency and enhancing insights quality.
  • Utilizing statistical modeling beyond Excel to synthesize primary and secondary research, offering insights into category and brand performance through robust analytics.
  • Assisting the Insights Manager in setting up research projects for strategic studies, coordinating with internal partners for proposal and questionnaire finalization, obtaining LEX approval, managing agencies, and overseeing recording systems.
  • Compiling reports for management that highlight trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Contributing to the agility of overall insights workstreams by streamlining research processes and ensuring agile outputs meet business needs.
  • Gathering data from primary and secondary sources and aiding in maintaining databases and data systems.
  • Conducting reviews and in-depth analyses of category and brand performance metrics.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Project Management.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in insights or Marketing Analytics roles within a prominent FMCG company, encompassing analytics and dashboard creation for marketing purposes.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible and dependable team player committed to advancing the goals of the department and company.
