JOB TITLE: IDT Finance Associate

FUNCTION: Finance

SUB FUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions- Finance Business Partners

CITY & COUNTRY: Selangor, Malaysia

• Consolidate DBS Functions budget forecast, working with the DBS leads to ensure consistent reporting, analysis and commentaries across the functions.
• Handle period end closing, provide monthly financial actuals analysis report to DBS Functions (all budget areas).
• Provide Budget Holder reporting dashboards for actuals tracking and forecasting at cost centre level Manage Financial Information to ensure accuracy of data and effective insights for business decisions.
• Ensure Cost Centres are up to date by proactively handling journals, recharges of intercompany costs, employment cost reclassifications, GL change.
• Ensures transactions are properly accounted for as per IFRS, Group requirements (GMAPP) and full compliance to SOX.
• Handle Intercompany transactional costs (recharges).
• Provide COUPA PO’s and Supplier Queries for project spend, contractors.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

• Finance Degree with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with 5 years and above relevant working experience
• Knowledgeable in relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent
• Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Experience of working in an IT or Technology environment a distinct advantage
• Ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable being able to work in ambiguous situations.
