FUNCTION: Trade & Marketing Distribution 

SALARY RANGE: Basic salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

LOCATION: Damansara City, Kuala Lumpur

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for optimizing the current investment efficiency (ROI) and providing actionable insights for the team to drive better value. This position will also contribute to the commercial strategy planning with relevant understanding and insights about the customers.

Reports to: Trade Investment Manager

Reporting Level: Manage Self & Others

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• In-depth analysis of current retail landscape to generate actionable insights to drive better value and commercial strategy planning.
• To find opportunity for process improvement and efficiency gains to enhance overall effectiveness of trade investment activities.
• Optimize investment efficiency through innovative solutions and maximise value.
• Oversee ongoing trade investments to ensure effective tracking and monitoring is in place.
• Ensure governance in line with SOX guidelines are intact for all customer-related investment.
• Proactively manage internal and external partners to drive continuous business improvement.
• Co-develop and implement total nicotine investment strategy with trade investment manager.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Possess at least a Degree in business/marketing or equivalent in any field
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Commercial / Finance
• Experience in Trade Marketing in FMCG industry (desirable)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel
• Experience with Scan & Retail Audit data
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions from data
• Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities
• In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and trade (desirable)

• Creative mind, proactive, strong attention to detail and flexibility
