WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Perform Calibration of the VELO Testing Equipment as per prescribed schedule of the Equipment Supplier to ensure their reliability.
Ensure the daily cleaning of the VELO Testing Equipment for their smooth functioning.
Implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance regime for all the QA related equipment and installation to ensure their availability all the time.
Trouble shooting in case of breakdown in any of the quality testing equipment so that regular quality testing is not disturbed.
- Improve equipment calibration skills of self and QA team.
- Support the reporting /decision making by ensuring right and relevant information with reference to Quality Indices
- Manage and support the activities of the chemical & physical laboratory in order to ensure it delivers an effective service to production departments.
- Facilitate QC& PM and manufacturing by maintaining the testing equipment up to the required standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Typical Education and Experience: Should preferably be a graduate with minimum of 14 years of education with technical experience in order to execute maintenance and upkeep of Quality Equipment
- Understand need / importance of Quality of product and the need to report accurate data.
- Understanding of the use and functioning of the quality testing equipment.
- Understanding /knowledge of the Preventive/ Predictive maintenance systems
- Understanding of sampling procedures.
- Good understanding of computers.
