FUNCTION: Digital Business Services (DBS)

LOCATION: Montreal, Canada

REPORTS TO: Senior DBS Manager

GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE: Canada

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Our Digital Business Solutions function (DBS) is leading the digital transformation of our business into a simpler and faster organisation. This role will be expected to manage DBS SoX, IT Risk & Control and IT Security across the organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

    • Responsible to implement SoX controls and support remediation / correction activities on the business systems
    • Ensures the daily, weekly and monthly controls are completed and signed off with completeness and accuracy checks
    • Responsible to clarify all audit queries from internal global SoX teams and external global teams 
    • Responsible for managing relationships with IT compliance team, Business Control Team and external auditors
    • Coordinate the IT response to changes in change domain compliance scope, including control design changes; RACM changes; scope changes; system changes; and vendor changes.
    • Responds to general audit requirements and determines the responsible teams to act upon their recommendations or the identified gaps. Accountable for concluding the actions
    • Responsible for driving user security awareness, developing and monitoring internal compliance of all change processes
    • Responsible for maintaining Disaster Recovery plans, test signoffs and publishing to global security repository.
    • Ensure monthly review of access management for Folder and applications in SoX scope.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in IT Risk, Change Governance & Compliance
  • Experience managing operational compliance for a large, multi-national organization (or audit background)

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Ability to influence SoX compliance and Security Governance
  • Understand the end-to-end DBS Services operational processes, current applications landscape, and accountabilities to ensure proactive and agile compliance
  • SoX and auditing expertise
  • Knowledge of relational databases and enterprise applications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with other cross-functional managers, business analysts, developers, suppliers, testers, business stakeholders and management
  • Strong written/verbal communication and experience working in fast-paced, dynamic teams.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any relevant fields

BENEFICIAL

  • Previous experience in consumer goods is preferred
